Description Discover more about , explore their vision, meet the team and view other vacancies.The job itselfLady in her early 40’s with ADHD and anxiety requires a support worker to support her with accessing the community and gaining confidence in doing this.This lady is a mum of 2 and family is very important to her.As a support worker you will need to encourage and support her and when she is struggling to support appropriately.You will need to be friendly and supportive as this lady can feel overwhelmed. Tasks are needed to be broken down, making realistic plan and targets.Duties includePrompting with medication, prompting to carry out personal cares, prompting with changing clothes.Support with nutrition, making healthy/balanced food plans and accessing food provisions.Encouragement and support with maintaining a habitable home and ensuring out of date/expired food is discarded of.Support with budgeting and finances.DBS/Reference checks will be required for this post – Cost to be met by the local authority.
