Job responsibilities:
- Provision of BREEAM consultancy and assessments, predominantly for mixed-use and non-residential developments, including site visits
- Active engagement with the client and project team to ensure that sustainability requirements are taken into consideration and achieved throughout the duration of the development
- Delivery of high-quality consultancy and written reports at all development stages
- Utilisation of resources from within the team to ensure that the client receives timely, professional advice and assessments
- Acting as Project Lead, responsible for the financial and project management of a range of sustainability services
Essential qualifications, skills and experience:
- Licensed BREEAM assessor
- Team player and ability to work independently
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Experience of Local Authority policies, their application and the planning process
- Good construction knowledge
Desirable qualifications, skills and experience:
- Qualified BREEAM Advisory Professional (AP)
- Demonstration of delivery against specific criteria e.g. climate change adaptation, LCA etc.
- Experience of using IES Tap
- Awareness of construction procurement routes and application to RIBA Stages
- Licensed BREEAM Domestic Refurbishment (BDR) and/or Home Quality Mark (HQM) assessor, or experience of these assessment types
