Job responsibilities:

  • Provision of BREEAM consultancy and assessments, predominantly for mixed-use and non-residential developments, including site visits
  • Active engagement with the client and project team to ensure that sustainability requirements are taken into consideration and achieved throughout the duration of the development
  • Delivery of high-quality consultancy and written reports at all development stages
  • Utilisation of resources from within the team to ensure that the client receives timely, professional advice and assessments
  • Acting as Project Lead, responsible for the financial and project management of a range of sustainability services


Essential qualifications, skills and experience:

  • Licensed BREEAM assessor
  • Team player and ability to work independently
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Experience of Local Authority policies, their application and the planning process
  • Good construction knowledge


Desirable qualifications, skills and experience:

  • Qualified BREEAM Advisory Professional (AP)
  • Demonstration of delivery against specific criteria e.g. climate change adaptation, LCA etc.
  • Experience of using IES Tap
  • Awareness of construction procurement routes and application to RIBA Stages
  • Licensed BREEAM Domestic Refurbishment (BDR) and/or Home Quality Mark (HQM) assessor, or experience of these assessment types
