Sustainability Manager

£50,000 - £60,000 + Bonus

London

A highly entrepreneurial commercial real estate investment manager are looking for a Sustainability Manager to play a key part in delivering their ambitious Sustainability and Responsible Investment strategies. The successful candidate will work with experienced asset managers on projects, and assist in the execution of all ESG initiatives across the portfolio.

Duties

  • Aid in the delivery of Net Zero and Responsible Investment strategies and monitor the progress against KPIs and targets.
  • Undertake data collation/analysis and draft sustainability disclosures and publications.
  • Help produce the annual Responsible Investment report and prepare ESG case studies needed for client reporting.
  • Gather information for and design responses to investor ESG surveys.
  • Assist in multiple projects and day-to-day organisation such as carrying out research, attending meetings and preparing agendas.
  • Aid in the development of the Impact report for the Impact Fund.
  • Gain an understanding of the portfolio by visiting a variety of properties with asset managers.
  • Work with asset and property managers to produce and implement action plans.
  • Take part in both relevant working groups/subcommittees as a company representative.
  • Keep up to date on external policy changes and industry trends.

Requirements

  • Previous experience within a sustainability role preferably in Real Estate.
  • Knowledge of best practice reporting and ESG reporting disclosure requirements.
  • Familiarity with analysing and presenting complex datasets.
  • Highly computer literate.
  • Qualifications in sustainability or property are desirable but not essential.
