Thisis a key sustainability role to ensure we meet our responsible sourcingrequirements and protect our renewable energy subsidy.
Theoffice location for this role is flexible and hybrid working is something wecan certainly discuss.
About the role
Asthe SustainabilitySourcing Manager, you will lead the effective planning,management and implementation of sustainable and responsible sourcing in ourbiomass supply chains. This role requires strategic thinking, a naturalinfluencer and advocate for responsible supply.
As a passionate ambassador for sustainability, you will be proactive inpromoting responsible sourcing within the business, providing analysis andadvising internal stakeholders on new feedstocks and their sustainabilitycredentials working directly with global suppliers to ensure biomass supplymeets our sustainability criteria
If you like to build strong relationships, then this role will certainly giveyou the scope to do just that! You’ll will be maintaining strong relationshipswith colleagues in the UK, US and Canada, in addition to and building directsupplier and stakeholder relationships globally.
Drawing upon your leadership skills and strong supply chain experience, youwill identify potential risks and implement mitigation plans throughout theend-to-end lifecycle of fuel supply chain.
About you
Strong communication skills will be essential to this role, along withexcellent experience of leading supply chain programmes and change management.
Inthis role you will be a true innovator within the Sustainability Sourcing Team,so your experience of working with diverse and global teams will truly comeinto play within this role.
Youwill hold a relevant degree in areas such as Environmental, Forestry orAgriculture as well as experience of working with high-risk supply chains indeveloping countries/ territories
