Roles and Responsibilities:
We are looking for a candidate with a passion for system design, we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Systems Engineer to join our RF Seekers Team within the Seekers and Datalink Systems Department. This is a fantastic chance to be part of a successful team at the forefront of technology, developing innovative seeker solutions from complex requirements.
What we are looking for from you:
- Proficiency in model-based design techniques and languages (e.g., UML).
- Experience in analysing and understanding genuine customer requirements and breaking them down into detailed subsystem requirements and complex functional architectures.
- Ambition to develop, build, and expand the Systems Design team and its members as the project evolves.
- Strong dedication and persistence to ensure tasks are completed effectively and efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills, essential for interacting with individuals at all levels of the project and conveying technical information clearly and understandably.
- Proven ability to consistently deliver required outputs within agreed timelines.
- Ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, external departments, and customers.
- Experience with systems engineering tools such as DOORS/DOORS NG/Rhapsody is desirable.
- Knowledge of RF/microwave and electronic systems, radar and control systems, and digital signal processing is a plus.
