Job Description
We have an excellent Integration Analyst who has Boomi experience to join our client’s expanding team. The role is hybrid working based in Manchester.
Your duties will involve working with business users and IT colleagues to define system integration requirements. Primarily this will be defining mappings and use cases for new integrations and documenting the functional/non-functional requirements, technology choice, patterns and error handling.
Although this is not a pure developer role, understanding of a range of integration approaches and technologies is essential as well as good knowledge of SQL and databases.
Candidates interested in this role should have the following essential skills and experience:-
- 1-2 years experience with Boomi application tool is a must.
- Experience of successfully gathering requirements in complex integrations.
- A track record of producing design/build documentation in the integration space.
- Extensive experience of producing Mapping Specifications.
- Strong SQL skills around Oracle and MS SQL.
- An understanding of a broad range of integration approaches and technologies.
- Experience with a data integration ETL Tool (preferably SSIS, but knowledge of alternative products would also be considered).
- Experience of calling and testing APIs using tools such as Postman API or SOAP UI.
- A knowledge of diagramming techniques e.g. UML.
- Data modelling experience.
Desirable experience includes using Azure DevOps pipeline; swagger or other rest definition tools; using source control, e.g. Bitbucket/Git/SVN; JIRA and Confluence; business analysis and how to document current processes (including flow charting).
