We are seeking a proven Systems Test & Integration Engineer with a Space Systems background, to bolster a very busy team across two of our newest Space related programmes called ALIGN and BEROE.
About the role:
As an integral member of the Lockheed Martin UK Space engineering team, you will be working with system / sub-system engineers and project managers across a number of active programmes where you will provide spacecraft Assembly, Integration and Testing (AIT) expertise as well as overall Systems Engineering excellence.
At Lockheed Martin UK Space, our engineers are involved on a mission through all mission phases. Starting with writing bids to customers, then developing and analysing the design during the early mission phases.
You will be supporting testing during AIT, during the launch campaign and finally assist with in-orbit commissioning of the satellite.
What will I be doing?
The role involves hybrid working and requires good communication skills to interface with the Space team and our partners.
A level of travel will be required to meet business needs around the North East of UK, Oxfordshire, London and other customer sites.
Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 5 years of professional experience; or 3 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree. Considered career, or journey, level.
