This is an 18-month Fixed Term Contract

Location – UK - Could be based in Bath, Leeds, Manchester or Wolverhampton

Rotork is currently undertaking a project to deploy Microsoft Dynamics 365 across all sites globally.

In this role you will be working within a specialised Engineering deployment team to facilitate this implementation with local Engineering teams around the globe, and working closely with implementation teams across other departments to ensure a smooth transition to the new D365 system.

Areas of responsibility will include:

  • Understanding and analysing local Engineering processes.
  • Analysing Engineering data and guiding and assisting teams in preparing their Engineering data and files for migration.
  • Guiding and assisting in the migration of existing product configurators and producing import data for new product configurators and selectors where applicable.
  • Solving problems with the introduction of new tools.
  • Collaborating with key project and business stakeholders.
  • Support production cut over and early life support tasks.

This role would suit a candidate with a keen eye for detail, who thrives in a challenging fast-paced environment. You will need to be technically orientated, process minded, disciplined and proactive to ensure the successful migration and adoption of D365 globally by the Engineering teams.

Qualifications

Experience Requirements

  • Experience working in a product manufacturing business is essential.
  • Experience working with Microsoft D365 & Bluestar is essential
  • Experience in manufacturing systems and Engineering product setup within those systems is preferable.
  • Experience in product configurator technologies is preferable.
  • Knowledge of programming languages is preferable
  • Higher level education or relevant experience, in an engineering or science discipline preferable.
  • Experience in Microsoft platforms such as Azure, Power Automate, Power Apps etc. would be beneficial

The Successful Candidate

  • Is methodical and loves troubleshooting.
  • Has excellent verbal and communication skills including English as first language or CEFR level C2 in English (or equivalent).
  • Can identify, investigate and resolve problems.
  • Is IT literate and is able to learn new technologies.
  • Can work to tight deadlines and switch priorities quickly.
  • Can effectively communicate technical information with a non-technical audience when required.
