Based full time on site in Birmingham paying £65,000 on a permanent basis we are looking for an IT Systems Administrator with EPOS/Retail systems experience to join a leading retailer. We're seeking a dedicated problem solver to work at our Birmingham Head Office. If you're passionate about driving high standards and possess of 5 years' experience in multi-channel retail with stock management and POS experience, we want you!
You'll be responsible for a range of tasks, including:
Troubleshooting and resolving system-related issues
Asset management and provisioning of company equipment
Installing and repairing key components where possible
Being proactive in learning new technologies
Helping colleagues with system-related queries or issues
Supporting new projects and existing operations
Recommending and sourcing hardware and software that meets business requirements
Tracking data to evaluate task efficiency
Performing maintenance tasks
To excel in this role, you'll need:
A solid understanding of retail stock management and POS
Advanced knowledge of information technology
Strong communication skills for training colleagues and interacting with management
Attention to detail and documentation
