An Amazing Career Opportunity for a Systems Implementation Engineer! The Systems Implementation Engineer provides technical support in the development and implementation of customer applications and company products. The candidate will conduct on-site installations, enhancements, maintenance and support for new and existing systems, implements new product configurations/software upgrades, installs network devices and/or hardware components/peripherals. As our Systems Implementation Engineer, you’ll support HID’s success by: Covering a wide range of skills supporting the implementation of solutions at customer sites. A flexible approach to location and working hours incorporating any appropriate shift patterns. Effective at determining a course of action, breaking it down into smaller steps and planning accordingly. Educated to a degree level in software engineering or computer science or have equivalent experience. Requires a minimum of 3-5 years’ experience of Implementations experience in controlled environments. Proven track-record delivering projects. Demonstrated ability to drive the planning, execution, and operation of complex projects Experience of setting up and administration of servers, pcs and networks. Understanding of networking principles, including, VLANs, IPv4 and subnetting,familiarity of the TCP/IP stack and LAN/WAN technologies. Experience with Windows domain services (Domain Controllers, DNS, Active Directory, WSUS etc.) Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server. Knowledge of Windows Failover Clustering (including, SQL and File servers). Experience of backup technologies for SQL and Virtualized Environments. Microsoft/VMWare/Cisco Certifications advantageous. Proficiency in cloud infrastructure platforms such as Azure or AWS is advantageous.
