Location: Aberdeen Bilfinger UK is a leading engineering and maintenance provider, supporting customers across the chemical & petrochemical, nuclear, oil & gas, pharmaceuticals & biopharma, power & energy, utilities, renewables and food & beverage markets. We enhance the efficiency of assets, ensuring a high level of availability and reducing maintenance costs. Commenced in March , Torus BGP, a JV between Bilfinger UK and Global E&C, was created to provide a full range of Integrated services across CNRI’s Ninian Central, Ninian South and Tiffany North Sea assets. Under a single operating philosophy, we deliver an extensive range of services including; Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, Construction, Lifting, Inspection, Access, Deck Management, and Fabric Maintenance. This role will lie under our O&M service line. This offshore position will be on a rotation of 2/3 mobilising from Aberdeen Key Responsibilities: -Perform key role in SCADA systems maintenance and upgrades on asset - operational technology via Emerson equipmentMaintain the integrity, availability and effective operation of the installation’s IS equipment in accordance with client and statutory requirementsPerform the role of Systems Administrator for the installation’s IS systemsProperly document and accurately report all maintenance, configurations, repairs, overhauls, adjustments and inspectionsEnsure detailed and accurate records of planned/unplanned maintenance activities are recorded within the CMMS (Maximo) and workload managed to minimise backlogReview any proposed IS modifications/workpacks prior to implementation and feedback as appropriateProvide feedback on progress/activities/technical issues as requiredOperation of UHF/VHF and air band Radio Other Responsibilities / Duties: -Ensure that the work conditions and environment are maintained in a safe and healthy conditionAct responsibly and takes all necessary precautions to protect themselves, fellow workers and any other persons who may be affected by their activities from injury and preventable illnessEnsure that any defects in working practices, machinery, tools, equipment, protective measures and protective clothing are immediately brought to the attention of management so that steps can be instigated to remedy the defect or take the equipment out of service until repaired or made safeIn the event of an emergency, carry out such duties as identified in the station bill/emergency response procedure or as directed by the OIM. Personnel are required to undertake the training to equip them for these rolesCompEx 01-04 (to attain LVIA)GMDSS GOC (required to operate UHF/VHF radios)OND/ONC/City and Guilds (or higher) in a relevant disciplineNVQ Level 3 in a relevant disciplineExperience of various SCADA and PLC Control Systems including fault finding and upgradesCAA Radio Cert (desirable)Server administration and maintenanceCompetent in maintaining IS systems in hazardous areasInstrumentation knowledge for systems interfaceCompetent in evaluating and resolving IS operational problemsKnowledge and proficiency of a CMMS (Maximo)A pro-active approach to solving problems and getting the job done If you wish to speak to a member of the recruitment team, please contact .
