About the role

As an experienced manager you will lead a team of experienced recruiters, providing guidance, mentorship, coaching and influence, ensuring the growth and development of your team. In this pivotal role you will be expected to proactively work with the business to think long term to understand upcoming hiring needs alongside delivering to current vacancies.

We will rely on you to attract, engage, hire, and inspire the diverse talent we need to succeed as a business. You will be focused on making sure the best hiring processes are in place so that you can deliver an exceptional candidate experience, every time. You’ll bring innovation, insight, and inspiration to the hiring process and your Team.

Key Accountabilities

  • Identify the team's individual development needs. Plan and implement actions to build their capabilities. Provide training or coaching to others throughout the organisation in your own area of expertise to enable others to improve performance.
  • Develop, lead, and implement resourcing strategies to support the delivery of the business strategy and objectives.
  • Oversee the entire recruitment process from job posting and sourcing to interviewing, and selection. Proactively source and build a pipeline of candidates through various channels.
  • Partner with Senior Leaders, Department Heads and Managers to understand their hiring needs and provide expert guidance on talent acquisition best practice.
  • Manage workstreams or projects in the TA and wider HR space.
  • Manage the recruitment budget, spend, and provide insights into ROI of sourcing channels.
  • Review existing operations, processes and implement innovation processes to generate new ideas and ensure continuous improvements are delivered.
  • Understand how the DE&I agenda impacts and feeds into how we attract, hire and retain talent into the business.

About you

You will be an experienced in house strategic and dynamic leader, who is driven by enabling others to be their best. You will have created and delivered against a robust plan. You will be used to using data to enhance the impact of the team and develop and report on key performance metrics to improve decision-making, cost efficiency and overall recruitment metrics.

You’ll be able to cope with change, shift gears comfortably, decide and act without having the total picture. You will be adaptable, flexible and solution focused. There is lots to do as we continue to transform our current recruitment offering and this role will give you both depth and breadth.

You will create a climate where people are motivated to do their best to help the organisation achieve its objectives. You will be client-driven and able to deliver a world-class service to the hiring community and positively influence the candidate experience.

This is a Hybrid role and you are required to work 2 days a week in the Bristol Office
