Job Description

The Talent Acquisition Officer/Junior Business Manager will report to the Business Sector Manager (BSM) and is responsible for developing and implementing staffing strategies to identify high-quality, diverse candidates for our organisation plus learn to be customer facing and grow into a Business Manager role which will involve recruitment, prospection of new customers and account management responsibilities.

Activities:

  • Ensure a consistent approach to recruitment and selection and proactively partner with the Business Managers to ensure the talent acquisition strategy delivers the right candidate at the right time to meet current and future business needs.
  • Deliver a full range of recruitment services providing a positive and professional experience to both candidates and managers.
  • Adhere to establish processes and collaborate on recruitment process improvement projects and initiatives.
  • Ensure the use of recruitment tools and processes is optimised, and that the business has relevant data on recruitment activity and costs.
  • Collaborate with SII HR and Talent Acquisition teams from other countries to ensure the implementation of our employer's brand as well as promoting in-house mobility
  • Work with Business Management Team to understand strategic business objectives and organisational design to proactively develop and implement effective sourcing strategies.
  • Ensure all candidate date is recorded accurately within GalaxSII including the uploading of CVs and related documents
  • Source and verify candidate CVs
  • Format CV into the SII template and agree version with the candidate
  • Ongoing professional development to ensure up to date knowledge of legislation and trends in recruitment
  • Receive training to become a Business Manager (monitored and provided by the BSM)
  • Embrace company ONEteam approach and work closely with colleagues from the SII Group in other nations

Reporting Requirements:

  • Daily team stand-up meeting to establish priorities
  • Reporting on Daily activities to the BSM
  • Weekly reporting of KPIs

Qualifications and Skills:

  • 2+ years experience sourcing candidates and working with customer stakeholders (360 role)
  • Strong and effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient IT skills (Microsoft office, CRM, ATS)
