Job Description

Role: Talent Development Partner / Learning & Development Partner

Location: Manchester, hybrid - 2 days from our Spinningfields office

Role Purpose:

Your primary focus will be on designing and implementing development initiatives to ensure a skilled and engaged work force that aligns with our business and People strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Training and Learning programmes. Design, implement and facilitate training programmes and workshops aimed at enhancing colleague/managers skills knowledge and performance, including onboarding, interpersonal skills, line manager training. Utilise a variety of delivery methods including digital learning, workshops, coaching etc.Work closely with Talent Development colleagues to ensure that learning content is approached in a holistic and aligned way.
  • Performance Management. Partner with HR to integrate talent development initiatives into the performance management process. Provide support and guidance to managers in setting OKRs, conducting performance management cycle and providing feedback.
  • Talent Identification and Assessment. Utilise various tools and methods to identify high potential colleagues across all levels of NCC. Conduct assessments to evaluate skills, competencies, and potential for advancement.
  • Development Planning. Collaborate with managers and HRBPs to support the creation of individual development plans for colleagues based on their career aspirations, strengths and areas for improvement, ensuring alignment between individual goals and NCC Group objectives.
  • Career pathing. Work collaboratively with the business areas to create/refresh career paths. Working with Digital Learning team, relevant SMEs provide resources and support to enable colleagues to self-serve and facilitate their own career.
  • Stakeholder management. Work closely with other Centres of Excellence, to create a connected and rounded approach to colleague experience.
  • Evaluation /ROI. Conduct assessments, surveys, and evaluations to measure the effectiveness and impact of development programmes.

What we are looking for in you:

  • Experienced in using psychometric tools desirable.

Essential Criteria:

  • Experience of designing, implementing and facilitating progressive, evidence-based and inclusive learning programmes including Management & Leadership Development.
  • Able to put the learner at the heart of content curation and creation.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and coaching skills.
  • Strong understanding of talent management principles, practices and trends.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and Learning Experience Platforms, or Learning Management Systems.
