  • Full time and part time available
  • 6 month contract
  • £35,328 - £37,000 per annum

The role:

Our client's People Hub consists of 15 people and this role will be one of three Talent Partners reporting to the Head of Talent & OD, supported by a Resourcing and Onboarding Advisor.

Reporting to the Head of Talent & OD, you'll partner the organisation to understand key talent requirements and ensure our attraction and selection strategies are put in place to deliver the right people at the right time, as you facilitate the end-to-end recruitment journey, providing a positive candidate experience and implementing improvements to our ways of working.

Responsibilities:

  • Own and manage the end-to-end vacancy lifecycle for your business areas, keeping stakeholders updated and ensuring relevant principles are adhered to (including Civil Service standards)
  • Work with People Partners and business stakeholders to understand short, medium and long-term talent requirements, translating into attraction and selection strategies, and building talent pipelines to meet the capability needs for your business areas.
  • Collect and interpret data to inform strategies and to make recommendations for improvements.
  • Provide excellent candidate and stakeholder engagement, suggesting and implementing improvements that will continuously build the level of customer service.
  • Act as a subject matter expert providing advice and guidance to line managers and the resourcing team across all areas of talent acquisition.
  • Support the delivery of the client's early careers resourcing strategy (graduates) to support the organisation to achieve its' ambitions.
  • Work with our supplier partner, to manage the early careers talent cycle from attraction and selection through to onboarding and ongoing development.
  • Identify opportunities to increase the diversity of our candidates.
  • Work as part of the team to develop succession planning and talent management frameworks.

Essential experience, skills and knowledge required:

  • Experience of overseeing and being accountable for, multiple recruitment campaigns. Managing the full vacancy life cycle through advertising, selection and offer stages, in partnership with vacancy holders.
  • Excellent stakeholder management with demonstrable experience of relationship building at all levels
  • Experience of delivering in a process orientated recruitment cycle, using Applicant Tracking Systems.
  • Experience of recruiting within Civil Service Commission requirements
  • Comprehensive understanding of recruitment marketing, attraction tools and channels
  • Experience of improving talent acquisition processes or similar projects
  • Providing expert advice and guidance to vacancy holders on best practice and compliance within regulated recruitment processes.
  • Experience of leading complex projects and managing varied stakeholders.
