Your future role: 

The Alstom Services Engineering is expanding rapidly, and the teams are growing to continue to support Aventra fleets to end of life; making it a great time to join our expanding team and business as part of your career plan. The TC Assurance Quality and Configuration/Change Management Engineer is a key role to manage all aspects of TCMS software delivery and is accountable for implementing the standard process and related methodologies and tools in order to ensure quality with Train Control delivery. Configuration Management (tracking all versions of SW and the capability of subsystem) and ensuring lessons Learnt/REX is conducted for each release.

We’ll look to you for:

  • Managing the SW quality assurance activities, creating and maintaining Lesson Learnt/REX sessions to improve SW delivery.
  • Tracking actions from Lesson Learnt/REX sessions to ensure completion.
  • Managing the consolidation of Quality Assurance and performance in due time for the project.
  • Manage and track Software versions, release information and related project documentation.
  • Support the tool set of SW release.
  • CM Tool admin and support, RTC, Dimensions, etc.

  • Experience of Project Engineering for Aventra/Crossrail
  • Rolling stock functional engineer experiences on several train functions
  • Work package and Team management experiences
  • Knowledge of network topologies and interfaces for Serial, Ethernet, MVB and other industrial communication network.
