Position: Teacher of Religious Education
Location: Slough, Berkshire
Start Date: September 2024
Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and academic qualifications in Religious Education.
- Proven experience teaching Religious Education at the secondary level.
- Strong leadership skills and ability to motivate students and colleagues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Commitment to professional development and staying updated with educational advancements.
- Right to work in the UK.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver dynamic lessons that ignite curiosity and love for learning.
- Provide leadership and support to the Religious Studies department.
- Monitor student progress and provide tailored support for academic success.
- Foster positive behaviour management techniques to create a conducive learning environment.
- Collaborate with other departments to enhance the overall educational experience.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Hold the right to work in the UK.
- Hold an Enhanced Child Barred list DBS certificate, registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application.
