Job Title: 1:1 Teaching AssistantLocation: Mickleover (DE3)Pay Rate: £85 to £95 Per Day About the RoleConnex Education is working with a primary school based in Mickleover who are recruiting for a 1:1 Teaching Assistant to work on a full-time and part-time basis. This role is only open to applicants able to work full-time, we are unable to consider part-time applicants for this position due to the requirements.About the schoolIntroducing a remarkable school opportunity for a 1:1 Teaching Assistant on behalf of Connex Education! We are excited to present a unique assignment at a school that caters to students aged 4 – 11 years old. The assignment calls for a 1:1 Teaching Assistant with experience in supporting young people who are autistic or have conditions such as ADHD, attachment disorders, and anxiety.Assignment DetailsThis 1:1 Teaching Assistant role is to start immediately and is an ongoing assignment, Monday to Friday, 8:30 to 3:30PM. This is likely to become a temp-to-perm opportunity for the right person. This role will include elements of personal care so you must be comfortable providing this. We are unable to consider part-time applicants for this position.Have experience of supporting pupils with Special Needs, either in a school or a similar setting.Be willing to provide personal care.Be confident in working with challenging behaviour.You must have a current enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to provide a new one.
