Technical Accountant AND Lead Technical Accountant
Banking & Financial Services
City of London
- Conduct regular audits to ensure financial compliance and integrity with new iterations of IFRS 9, any accounting changes
- Prepare and present detailed reports on audit findings
- Develop and implement effective and efficient accounting systems
- Collaborate with team members to achieve departmental objectives
- Stay updated with latest accounting and financial regulations within the FS world (financial instruments, credit related...)
- Provide technical expertise in the development of financial policies and procedures
- Assist in preparing annual budgets and financial forecasts
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of financial management practices
The Successful Applicant
Technical Accountant AND Lead Technical Accountant
City of London
A successful Technical Accountant should have:
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Professional certification such as ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent
- Extensive knowledge in accounting principles, audit standards, and financial regulations
- Proficiency in using financial software and advanced Excel skills
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
