Role: Asbestos Technical Assessor
Location: Remote, UK coverage
We are currently looking for an External Technical Assessor with extensive experience of asbestos testing and inspection work.
Playing a pivotal role, our external Technical Assessors are a crucial part of the UKAS assessment process, providing UKAS with the essential expertise required to deliver robust assessments in the asbestos sector.
Key skills:
- Ideally be COC Asbestos qualified or most of the P401 to P408 completed, equivalent qualifications will also be considered.
- Proven experience of asbestos testing and/or inspection activities
- Experience of internal or external auditing would be beneficial to ISO/IEC17025, ISO/IEC17020 although full training will be given to become a Technical Assessor
- Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, being able to communicate effectively with testing and inspection staff, Senior Management Teams and their customers at all levels.
