The role

As an Technical Implementation Consultant at Davies Technology Solutions (DTS), you will play a crucial role in the technical delivery of RegTech solutions to clients across the UK. You will customise and configure solutions, author technical documentation, and provide support to clients, ensuring high-quality implementation and client satisfaction. Your role involves collaborating with the broader team to enhance development processes, maintain quality, and mitigate project risks.

In this dynamic role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to a positive team culture and support clients in their use of our solutions.

Please note this role requires minimum 1 days/week in our Milton Keynes office (we're close to the station!)

Key responsibilities

  • Undertake, contribute to, and analyse the output of client workshops to gather high-quality technical and business requirements.
  • Develop solutions by customising and configuring the product set to meet client requirements.
  • Take responsibility for the technical delivery of key components within larger client solutions, as well as small end-to-end client solutions.
  • Collaborate with the wider team design and delivery high quality technical solutions, training and timely support throughout customer engagement.
  • Author high-quality technical documentation that supports downstream activities, ensuring clear and comprehensive guidance.
  • Identify and escalate potential project risks and issues early in the project life cycle.
  • Support and contribute to a positive team working culture within projects, fostering collaboration and productivity.
  • Undertake necessary administrative tasks as part of day-to-day activities to ensure smooth project operations.

Key skills and experience required.

  • Demonstrable experience of software customisation and installation
  • Strong working knowledge of SQL is a must, experience of SSRS Reporting beneficial.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and organisational skills, ensuring reliability and trust is demonstrated throughout customer journeys.
  • Previous experience working to tight deadlines; a history of high performance advantageous
  • Skilled in building, maintaining and improving enduring client relationships.
  • Excellent communication skills - previous workshop facilitation experience beneficial
  • A willingness to travel to client sites as required with commitment to offering on-site support
  • Front end development skills such as HTML, CSS, JSON, and/or JavaScript advantageous, but not necessary (we can help you learning in this area! :)
  • An understanding of how API calls facilitate smooth data exchange between systems
