Technical Customer Support Engineer Audio Technology & Electronics Nottinghamshire 2426K benefits Joining this specialist audio technology company as a Technical Customer Support Engineer is an ideal role for someone with freelance AV Technician or Sound Engineering experience and looking for a stable long term job. Youll be acting as the first point of contact for new and existing B2B customers via phone email and web chat so you need to be a confident communicator and enjoy talking to a variety of people. As part of the technical support team youll be providing both presales and postsales support working with commercial customers to help them get the best from their audio systems. The company provide specialist equipment which youll receive full training on however they would like to find someone who already knows their way around audio technology and understands how an audio signal and system work in particular networked audio. There are great longterm development opportunities within the team and also across the wider company so this is an ideal job for someone with background as a Sound or AV Engineer and looking for more security /stability and regular hours. Requirements Understanding of audio technology with handson experience using audio hardware and software Confident and comfortable communicating with customers and enjoys providing a high level of service Good written communication skills with attention to details Methodical approach with good trouble shooting skills Background in customer or IT support (or both!) Knowledge of networked audio Good understanding of AV systems Basic electronics knowledge CAD Good understanding of AV systems Basic electronics knowledge CAD Customer Support
