Technical Lead -Remote - £60,000-£65,000 Contract: Fixed term 12 months A Technical lead is required for a leading organisation with headquarters based in London, where you will play a key part in all functions of the business. You'll work closely with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The Ideal candidate has experience as a technical lead or in a similar role. Key Responsibilities Managing the technical elements of the project from start to finish, in collaboration with the Project Managers. Communicating project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion Defining project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business requirements for a future IT Shared Service model Collaborating directly with technical teams including those responsible for Cloud Operations and Architecture, Software Development etc. Estimating resources, determining and assessing the need for additional staff and/or consultants at key stages Developing and delivering technical progress reports, proposals, and requirements documentation Key Skills A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is required. Demonstrated experience in leading software development teams is required. Strong knowledge of Agile or Scrum software development methodologies is essential. Excellent communication and leadership skills are necessary. Proven strategic experience and the ability to write business cases are required. Experience with Dynamics for CRM, Sharepoint, and Azure is necessary. Experience in leading and supporting the transition to a shared service model is required. Demonstrated ability to operate at a senior level, with an understanding of strategy and operational requirements for IT services, systems, and architecture is essential. Creative problem-solving ability is a must. The successful candidate must be a resilient problem-solver, passionate about achieving the right outcomes. Salary The salary my client is offering for this position is between £60,000 and £65,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus excellent benefits such as travel expenses when coming into the office.
