Our client is currently seeking an experienced Technical Lead to join their Consultancy division. The successful candidate will be based from our Central London office. The role is full time, permanent and offers a competitive salary and wide range of benefits.
As Technical Lead you will hold a position that will make you the point of contact for our clients most prestigious contract within the consultancy division.
The duties of the Technical Lead will include:
Representing the client at the regular contract meetings that take place such as fortnightly meeting with the client
Working with our operational divisions, to ensure the continuity and high standard of schemes from design to delivery
Overseeing the Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and Hostile Vehicle Mitigation (HVM) programme.
Assisting Team Leaders with workload/resource planning
Providing technical support including reviewing and approval of design drawings
What skills and experience do you need?
We are ideally looking for a Chartered Engineer or Incorporated Engineer with significant experience of highway engineering and urban design within a consultancy environment. Experience of working closely with clients and contractors build teams is essential.
You will also need to be familiar of working with local government and private sector clients, and you will have good working knowledge of different contract types including NEC3.

We are a dynamic team covering urban realm, private developer, HVM and maintenance schemes. As a division, we are constantly looking to improve our offer to our clients. We are involved in new initiatives including the design and production of new surfacing materials through to using A.I. to undertake highway inspection.
