We have recently gained a Technical Officer role in the Gloucestershire area. This is for a highly respectful organisation which offers great opportunity to grow and progress. They also provide the opportunity to turn this Temporary role into a permanent position 6-9 months into the role. The company offer a great training programme and focus on a healthy work-life balance.
The hourly rate for this temporary position is £26-£28 per hour.
Skills needed in the Technical Officer role:
Good organisation and self-management skillset
Extensive experience with Planned Works
Relative experience of building maintenance in a local authority or other registered social landlord
Experience of working directly with tenants
Great communication skills
Good understanding IT as you will be using a tablet for your work
Responsibilities of the Technical Officer role:
Oversee planned maintenance programmes
Plan, organise and undertake pre and post inspections
Ensure all documentation, certification and records relating to post inspection activity are maintained accurately and appropriately in accordance with GDPR requirements
Adhere to health and safety legislation
Work closely with contractors
