Smart Environmental Support Solutions are excited to be recruiting for an Onsite Recruitment Manager to work with our client, who is a Waste Management specialist, based in the Ipswich area.


Working within a manufacturing environment, the Workforce Performance Manager will be responsible for Client and Candidate engagement, streamlining communication between the recruitment team and the production team

The Role

To ensure the smooth running of this well established recycling facility. Managing staff rota’s, sickness and holiday. Recruiting new and managing a pool of candidates to ensure the plant is fully staffed at all times. To ensure internal and external customer satisfaction and to uphold the Company’s reputation for excellent service and compliance.

The Technical Account Manager will become an expert in the sector, learning all aspects of the business enabling them to recruit, train and support the best workforce for the business.

Overview

  • Monitoring of employee performance, in particular pick rates, Health and Safety and general conduct.
  • Ensure that all staff are well trained and motivated to meet operational objectives.
  • Drive continuous improvement in pick rates, screen cleaning and housekeeping tasks.
  • Ensure that all employees are treated with dignity and respect, and they treat each other accordingly;
  • Able to identify changes in material quality and react accordingly to ensure that quality and production is not compromised.
  • Able to manage and deal with non-compliance and breaches of Health and Safety on shift.
  • Ensure that site Health, Safety and Environmental standards (including housekeeping) are maintained to a high standard.


Skills & Experience Required:

  • Previous experience in a recruitment background is essential
  • Working knowledge of Health & Safety at work
  • Understanding of waste and recycling collection operations is an advantage
  • Must be able to demonstrate problem solving skills
  • Excellent level of English, both spoken and written is essential
  • Very good level of numeracy
  • Ability to multitask while under pressure
  • Flexible, adaptable approach is essential
