Well, we have an exciting opportunity for an immediately available Technical Project Manager to join us on an initial 4 month contract, remote working with occasional travel to Reading or Dublin.

We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager for this technical compliance delivery to ensure that we meet our tight timelines and mitigate further risk of exposure and financial penalty. The Project Manager should have prior experience of E-invoicing compliance implementations with Tax compliance experience a distinct advantage. This is a critical role that demands a seasoned professional who thrives in fast-paced environments, possesses exceptional organizational skills, and can navigate complex technical landscape and has experience working with multiple 3rd parties and implementation partners.

Responsibilities:

- Lead all phases of project from implementation to post implementation support ensuring that we meet the aggressive timelines.

- Rigorous and organized individual, with an eye for detail

- Comfortable leading technical conversations

- Act as a liaison between key stakeholders (Fiscal advisors, Tax team, Finance Team, Technology, Engineering)

- Provide project management on Tax-related projects

- E-invoicing / E-reporting compliance experience (ie Peppol, SAF-T, RTIR, VIDA, SII etc)

- Understanding of Tax and invoicing processes ideal

- Questioning mindset – need to be able to challenge requirements handed down

- Experience of cross-functional/cross-lines of business large-scale projects desirable

- Manage project resources effectively, including personnel, budget, and external vendors, to optimize productivity and minimize disruptions to ongoing operations.

- Monitor project progress closely, identify potential bottlenecks or roadblocks, and implement proactive measures to keep the project on track.

- Communicate project status updates, risks, and issues to stakeholders and senior management regularly, providing transparent visibility into project performance.

- Ensure that the Primark gate governance process is followed to avoid blockers to go-live.

- Setup regular cadence of calls and develop a comms plan for the project.

- Must have the ability to adapt and pivot quickly to ensure that project timeline is protected.

- Experienced with Cut Over planning

- Experience with portfolio reporting

- Experience with Acceptance in to Service and Post Go Live triage issue management
