We are currently hiring for an exciting Technical Sales Engineer opportunity with one of the UK’s leading specialist providers of water leak detection and protection systems.
The role will be suited to Sales Engineers who are experienced in providing the full sales process; including the preparation and delivery of quotations, through to follow-up and sales close. The Technical Sales Engineer must be able to develop high quality, ongoing relationships with customers to improve the likelihood of repeat business.

The Role:
- Develop high quality, ongoing relationships with customers
- Act as one of the primary points of contact for customers seeking information or quotations for products and services
- Review and interpret documentation supplied by the customers for the purposes of advising on system design and subsequent quoting
- Prepare a variety of quotation needs to suit the needs of the customer
- Use necessary software packages to follow the sales process to close
- Schedule and attend in-person/ virtual meetings with customers to discuss projects
- Prepare updates and reports for monthly pipeline and weekly sales meetings
- Liaise with other departments where necessary including project co-ordinators, engineers and consultants
The Person:
- Experience working with Mechanical & Electrical contractors
- Strong IT skills
- CAD skills are preferred
- Good problem solving skills
- Good communication and written skills for the production of quotations
