Job title: Support Technician (electrical and manufacturing) Location: Okehampton Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 Entry level Are you passionate about electrical systems and problem-solving? Opus have partnered with a client in Okehampton who are seeking an entry level Development and Support Technician to join the team. You will be responsible for providing technical support and perform design, development, testing and documentation activities relating to products in both development and on the market. Key Responsibilities: Troubleshooting and repairing electrical faults Ability to use test equipment and tools relating to electronics manufacture and testing. Ability to understand and review technical documents Providing technical support to end-users Awareness of Quality Management Systems and their application in terms of the development function You'll need to have a knowledge of electronic design and electronic product manufacturing, along with a interest and some knowledge of fault finding and electronic diagnostic devices. They're happy to see entry level candidates so if you're looking for a company where you can progress your career this could be a good role for you. You'll need to be in a location where you can commute to Okehampton a few times a week for this role.
