Are you looking for an opportunity to join a multiskilled IT team with the focus of supporting staff and learners with their use of IT, as well as ensuring all IT systems and services are fully operational in order to maintain business functionality?
Do you want to be able to apply the knowledge, skills and experience you have gained to help the organisation improve and develop current working practices?
Applicants must have extensive knowledge of IT systems to include Windows (10/11, Windows server 2012-2019), network/system administration, Meraki APs, troubleshooting, anti-malware (ideally Sophos), cyber security and Office 365 administration.
Additionally, youmust be able to support individuals with varying levels of technical knowledge.
You will assist with the maintenance and security of our network infrastructure, across all sites, and put forward recommendations for improvements.
The hardware systems consist of physical servers, VMs, switches, firewalls, desktops, laptops, tablets, mobile phones, printers, wireless access points, touchscreen display units and Avaya phone systems.
The software systems include Windows 10/11, Windows server 2012-2019, Office 365, SharePoint, Active Directory, Group Policy Management, Sophos, VMware, VEEAM, Meraki Cloud MDM, and Papercut.
The role includes supporting all staff and learners with the use of the equipment and systems, as well as creating and maintaining system accounts.
