Position: Technology Enhanced Learning Specialist

Salary: £28000 to £35,000 per year
Newotion IT Solutions LTD, a leading technology company based in London, is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Learning Specialist to join our team. As a Learning Specialist, you will play a key role in designing and developing effective learning solutions for our employees and clients. This is a full-time position with a salary of £35,000 per year and an opportunity to work in a collaborative and innovative environment.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) and stakeholders to identify learning needs and objectives.
- Design, develop, and implement engaging learning programs, courses, and materials using instructional design principles and methodologies.
- Utilize course development tools and technologies to create interactive and multimedia-rich learning experiences.
- Apply instructional design concepts to design and sequence learning activities, assessments, and evaluations.
- Research and incorporate the latest industry trends and best practices in learning and development.
- Create and update learning content, including e-learning modules, videos, presentations, job aids, and other training materials.
- Assess and evaluate the effectiveness of learning programs through feedback, assessments, and performance indicators.
- Collaborate with the Learning and Development team to support the delivery and administration of training programs.
- Provide guidance and support to trainers and facilitators in delivering effective training sessions.
- Stay updated with emerging learning technologies and tools, and explore innovative approaches to enhance the learning experience.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Instructional Design, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience as a Learning Specialist, Instructional Designer, or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of instructional design principles, adult learning theories, and learning methodologies.
- Proficiency in course development tools and technologies, such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, or similar authoring tools.
- Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS) and learning content management systems (LCMS).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Demonstrated creativity and problem-solving skills to design engaging and impactful learning experiences.
- Experience in creating content for technical and IT-related training programs is a plus.
