Job Description

Your Team
The Technology procurement team is responsible for the end-to-end procurement for all Technology spend across the Teya Group. You will report into the Head of Technology Procurement. Procurement is part of the Finance division within Teya. Countries in the Teya Group include UK, Portugal, Hungary, Croatia and other markets in Europe.

You will work with a diverse team that is building the procurement function from the ground up at Teya. We’re focussing on ensuring that we’re able to deliver the right commercial solutions for our colleagues but the work that the team does is key to impacting our bottom line.

Your Role

You will be responsible for the acquisition of technology goods and services. This includes developing and implementing procurement strategies, negotiating contracts with suppliers, managing budgets, and ensuring compliance with procurement policies and regulations.

This entails:

  • Lead all phases of Tech procurement for categories and work assigned to you;
  • Maintain and manage supplier relationships;
  • Developing and improving the procurement processes that run through Teya
  • Identifying new and better ways to operate commercially
  • Be responsible for contract management;
  • Manage costs and cost controls within the functions and with relevant stakeholders;
  • Work in creation of budgets for the department;

This role would be ideal for a Junior Procurement professional looking to step into a mid-level role. The scope for development is huge, we’re building the function, the area is there for you to own and build.

We want someone who can come in, take ownership and help build the non tech procurement team into a world class team.

Qualifications

We are looking for individuals with a strategic, analytical mindset and a vision for the future, as well as someone who has a strong presence in communication to develop partnerships. Successful candidates should possess the below soft skills:

  • Up to 5 years of previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential
  • Strong analytical, presentation, communication, negotiation and influencing skills;
  • Interpersonal & Relationship Management skills and a proactive customer-focused approachability to manage multiple projects, adopt a flexible approach and prioritize tasks appropriately;
  • Experience in dealing with cloud spend is a positive
  • Aptitude in decision-making and working with numbers;
  • Forward and solution minded, team player, with high degree of self-management;
  • Experience in market research and analysing data;
  • Comfortable navigating in a multicultural and broad environment, with all levels of the organization;
  • Someone capable of being both strategic and operational
  • Knowledge of SRM is preferred
  • SAP working knowledge will be considered a plus;
