Key Responsibilities:

  1. Perform various network and IT cabling installations in diverse environments, including Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6a, telephony, and fibre optics.
  2. Meet tight deadlines, ensuring tasks are completed to the satisfaction of both the company and clients.
  3. Adhere to Health and Safety Policies and statutory Health and Safety Legislation.
  4. Lead multi-personnel installations when required.
  5. Prepare and understand site-specific Risk Assessments.
  6. Complete all project-related engineer documentation.
  7. Serve as the primary contact and liaison with customers during installations.
  8. Supervise and monitor the performance of Engineers and Junior Engineers.
  9. Provide on-the-job training and guidance for Engineers and Junior Engineers.
  10. Carry out minor electrical installations, depending on qualifications.
  11. Conduct site survey visits as needed.

Skills & Experience:

  1. 1-5 years of industry experience.
  2. Demonstrated experience and understanding of network cabling and installations.
  3. Ability to work under pressure within tight timescales both independently and as part of a team.
  4. Reliable communicator, building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  5. Willingness to go the extra mile for colleagues and customers.
  6. Flexibility in working hours and travel requirements.
  7. CSCS accreditation (or equivalent).
  8. Full and valid UK driving licence.
  9. Attention to detail with a solid understanding of expected quality standards (World Class).
  10. Positive attitude and leadership by example.
  11. Proficiency in attending customer meetings and representing the business professionally.
  12. Experience managing large project installations, delegating tasks to multiple teams including subcontractors, and tracking and reporting project progression.
  13. Industry certifications.
  14. Personal Qualities:
  15. Friendly and approachable demeanour.
  16. Comfort in dealing directly with clients.
  17. Willingness to learn and gain additional qualifications.
