Position: Telecoms Engineer - Self Employed

Job Description

  • You will receive full and ongoing training in the role and be fully supported throughout your working day by a dedicated service centre.
  • You will work on a long-term self-employed basis.
  • Day-to-day duties include installing broadband and TV services, resolving broadband faults, and optimizing speed in our customers' premises on behalf of our clients, including TalkTalk and BT.
  • The successful candidate will have an interest in Telecoms, broadband, or IT.
  • You will undertake shifts on a rotational basis with the option of flexible working.
  • This field-based position requires driving from one job to another while providing the above services with a keen focus on customer service.
  • Our client is running a training course for this Telecoms Field Engineer position, lasting two weeks.
  • Previous experience in Telecoms, broadband, or IT would be beneficial; however, an interest in either IT, Telecoms, or broadband is sufficient.

Key Responsibilities

  • You must have a full UK driver's license with no more than 6 points and have held it for at least two years.
  • You should be friendly, customer-focused, and eager to resolve customer issues.
  • You must be interested in IT, broadband, telephony, and digital TV technology.
