REQUIRED: TELEPHONY (VOICE) PROJECT MANAGER
LOCATION: 1-2 DAYS ONSITE KNUTSFORD, REST REMOTE
DURATION: 12 MONTH INITIAL CONTRACT
IR35 STATUS: INSIDE
The customer is looking to migrate their existing Voice platform
Mandatory Skills
Has analysed and documented specific projects' business requirements and strategic resolution initiatives; can describe alternative problem-solving approaches and their optimal uses. Has been able to maintain a dialogue in difficult situations. Can identify customer satisfaction gaps through regular communication and participates in negotiations. Highly capable in being able to train, manage and support other project managers and project analysts within the team.
Desired Skill Has a Project Management qualification (preferred) Highly competent with Microsoft Project, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
Roles and Responsibilities
The management of projects, typically involving the development and implementation of technical solutions and business processes to meet identified business needs, acquiring and utilising the necessary resources and skills, within agreed parameters of cost, timescales and quality. Define and deliver Business Cases to ensure that their Programme's achieve both the delivery and achieve the desired Business Benefits Takes responsibility for the definition, documentation and satisfactory completion of large scale projects and Programmes Identifies, assesses and manages risks to the success of the Programme. Ensures that realistic project and quality plans are prepared and maintained and provides regular and accurate reports to stakeholders as appropriate. Ensures that quality reviews occur on schedule and according to procedure. Manages the change control procedure and ensures that project deliverables are achieved. Change Implementation, Planning & Management: Defining and managing the process of deploying and integrating IT capabilities into the business in a way that is sensitive to, and fully compatible with, business operations. Drives resources to deliver site implementation plans and align with the overall plan. Tracks and reports against these activities to ensure progress. Engage networks and server ops to ensure Programme demand is captured and prioritised. Engage with vendors to ensure all external activities are captured in project plan and delivered to a successful outcome Work with CTO and Engineering; coordination of technical team to ensure build design and implementation activities are conducted on time to ensure technical delivery. Stakeholder Management and Leadership The role holder will be responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders across the different business units, working with them to ensure our services can be delivered to meet the business needs. The coordination of relationships with and between key project resources, during the design, management and implementation of business change, required to: Develop and manage one or more defined communication channels and/or stakeholder groups. Initiate communications between stakeholders, acting as a single point of contact for defined groups. Facilitate open communication and discussion between stakeholders. Capture and disseminate technical and business information. Facilitate the business change decision-making processes and the planning and implementation of change.
