We have a brand new opportinity available to join a reputable Control Panel manufacturer supplying both international and UK markets. Currently in search of a talented Tendering Design Engineer to join their growing team. This is an opportunity to be part of a fast-paced environment, taking ownership of contracts and contributing significantly to an engineering department.
TenderingDesign Engineer
£40,000 - £50,000 + Flexi-time, Annual Bonus, Company Pension
35 Hours per week with an early Friday finish
Open to applicants on a full time or part time basis

TenderingDesign Engineer- The Role:
- Being part of an estimating/project engineering team, liaising with the shop floor and customers
- Producing quotations from client specifications and line diagrams
- Preparing rough hand sketches to pass on to the drawing office
- Preparing bill of materials
- Interacting with customers and internal staff to resolve any issues
- Working in accordance with all our company policies
TenderingDesign Engineer- The Person:
- A professional qualification in an engineering discipline (i.e. HNC, ONC, NVQ)
- Experience of industrial Engineering projects
- Good people skills, time management and attention to detail
- Prrvious experience in Control Panel design for industrial products would be beneficial
- Some knowledge of PLC’s and how they operate
- Knowledge of control philosophy
- Experience in managing design projects of different types
- Ability to communicate effectively, both internally and externally
