Are you a skilled Telecoms Test Engineer looking for your next challenge? We have an exciting opportunity for a 6-month contract with a leading global telecoms company in Birmingham. If you have experience in VoIP/SIP testing, automation, and telecom protocols, this could be the perfect role for you.
Key Responsibilities:
- SIP/VoIP Call Performance Testing using tools like SIPp, Spectra, WinSIP, and StarTrinity.
- Automation with Python & Robot Framework.
- API Test Automation & Performance Testing using Locust, Blazemeter/Taurus, k6, newman, and jmeter.
- GUI Automation with TestCafe, Robot Framework, and Selenium.
- CI/CD Test Integration.
- Knowledge of Ansible and Terraform for Linux build automation.
- Basic administration skills in Linux & Windows environments.
- Expertise in operating systems such as RHEL, CentOS, OEL, Windows Servers/Workstations, and experience with DNS/DHCP/LDAP/A.D servers.
- Familiarity with Telecom Applications (e.g., Metaswitch Rhino, Dialogic Media Server, Perimeta SBC) and Telecom Protocols (SIP, RTP).
- Strong understanding of ITIL Process and experience with security implementation/system hardening on telecom applications and services.
Desirable Skills:
- SSCA SIP School Certified Associate.
- Knowledge of Intelligent Network service protocols (e.g., INAP, CAP, MAP).
- Experience using Metaswitch Scenario Simulator for SIP, INAP, and MAP protocol testing.
- Proficiency in developing scripting with Python.
