Job Description:

We are currently seeking an experienced and dynamic Test Engineering Manager to lead our testing team in Milton Keynes, UK. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of testing, with a focus on FSS (Financial Services System) and associated functional, business, and data processes. Additionally, the Test Engineering Manager will oversee data migration and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) activities, ensuring the successful delivery of source-to-target mapping and business sign-off.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead and manage the testing team, ensuring the successful delivery of testing activities for UFSS and associated processes.
2. Drive solutions to mapping challenges, advising on data derivation rules, and identifying additional data sources to meet target requirements.
3. Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues identified during data load and testing cycles, maintaining data quality.
4. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand project requirements and ensure alignment of testing activities with business objectives.
5. Drive resolution to risks, issues, and delivery challenges, maintaining a focus on data quality and integrity.
6. Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, conveying complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.
7. Manage project delivery, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
8. Provide leadership and guidance to offshore teams, ensuring effective collaboration and coordination.
9. Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the testing team, driving efficiency and excellence in testing practices.

Key Requirements:

1. Extensive experience with UFSS and associated functional, business, and data processes.
2. Expertise in advanced SQL, with the ability to write complex queries and perform data analysis.
3. Strong understanding of the data migration lifecycle, approaches, tools, and techniques.
4. Proven experience in data migration and ETL, including source-to-target mapping and business sign-off.
5. Technical test experience, with a track record of successful project delivery.
6. Previous experience in people management, including managing and leading testing teams.
7. Experience working closely with clients to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
8. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively convey technical and business concepts.
9. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to drive resolution to complex issues.
10. EU citizenship or valid work permit for the UK.
