Banner Test Manager
An opportunity has arisen to join the University’s iSoutions Team on a 12 month fixed term contract, working with colleagues across the institution to create a testing function that will support the delivery of high quality technically enabled change.
As an experienced Test Manager, you will have the passion, technical & people leadership capability to take responsibility for all aspects of testing across the university IT estate, for technically enabled programmes. This includes technical system and integration testing and user acceptance testing (UAT), functional and non-functional. You would have the opportunity to turn the dial on quality, for the University and have the necessary skills to identify and provide expert guidance and advice to stakeholders in all testing related matters, from the leadership team to the hands-on testers.

A relevant technical, engineering or science degree and/or equivalent technical experience.
Proven ability to apply and manage fundamental test processes in System, System Integration, and user acceptance testing environments.
Proven experience planning and progressing test activities within broad professional guidelines and/or broad organisational policy.
Able to develop understanding of long-standing and complex problems and to apply professional knowledge and experience to solve them.
Demonstrable structured, logical, and critical thinking that they can apply to guide stakeholder’s direction.
Able to think laterally and provide innovative ideas to enhance the Quality and Test function.
