Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Provide 2ndline of defense oversight and challenge on the bank’s Third Party Risk Management process.
  • Maintain and update the relevant local TPRM governance documents.
  • Participate in the TPRM sub-committee.
  • Produce monthly TPRM sub-committee 2nd line report.
  • Conduct QA/QC for TPRM on a timely basis.
  • Responsible for CRCA and regulatory library maintenance for TPRM and Governance.

Risk Governance:

  • Maintain and update the Risk Appetite Framework and Risk Management Framework.
  • Responsible for the Risk Identification and Assessment process.
  • Responsible for the annual Algo self-assessment.
  • Responsible for regulatory horizon scanning to capture all relevant publications of PRA, EBA, Basel or other relevant bodies.
  • Maintain the Business Continuity Plan for UK GRM.
  • Coordinating the annual UK GRM MSLA/MoU update.
  • Assist the CRO in creation of the quarterly risk update for the Board meeting.
  • Any other work efforts assigned by management.
  • Champions a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge.
  • Understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions
  • Actively pursues effective and efficient operations of his/her respective areas, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational risk, regulatory compliance risk, AML/ATF risk and conduct risk, including but not limited to responsibilities under the Operational Risk Management Framework, Regulatory Compliance Risk Management Framework, AML/ATF Global Handbook and the Code of Conduct.
  • Contributes to a high-performance environment and fosters an inclusive work environment; supporting the vison/values/business strategy for the team.

Skills desired:

  • Good experience working in Operational risk from first or second lines, TPRM experiences preferred.
  • Organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Proven ability to multi-task and as a self-starter
  • Financial Services experience essential.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Visio
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills to deal with all levels of staff
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal
  • Ability to work independently
