JOB Toolmaker LOCATION- Folkestone, Kent TERM- Permanent SALARY- up to £40,000 (dependent on experience) My client specialises in Precision Engineering and tool manufacturing.

They are looking for a Toolmaker to join their team in the Folkestone area on a permanent basis.
The Toolmaker will ideally have the following attributes: NVQ, BTEC, City & Guilds, HNC, HND qualified in Mechanical / Manufacturing Engineering or similar ideally Previous experience working in a similar environment as a Toolmaker Be aware of current moulding and manufacturing processes Be proficient with using a variety of hands on tools and equipment The ability to work well alone as well as part of a team Experience in injection mould Toolmaking, and high precision machiningThe Toolmaker role will involve: Tool repairs, maintenance and manufacture Manufacturing all work as specified by Tool Order Requests Reading from engineering drawings Working to BS 208 drawing standards Inspecting all work before passing on to the next stage of manufacture Complying to all Health & Safety requirementsIf you are interested in this position, please apply with an up to date CV as soon as possible, along with your availability and your salary expectation
