This role involves advising the firm’s clients on the registrability of trademarks and recommending cost-effective registration strategies, drafting legal submissions for UKIPO or EUIPO proceedings and handling UKIPO hearings, advising clients regarding trademark conflicts and disputes at registries, and more.
The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of post-qualification experience and must be a CITMA-qualified attorney. Experience in handling cases at the UKIPO and EUIPO is essential. Though not required, it is desirable for the candidate to have experience working in an in-house trademark department of a brand-owning company. The successful candidate will also have a stellar academic background and a stable career record.
