DeFi Recruitment has partnered with a crypto financial services firm. Our client operates globally and serves a wide range of clients with a variety of services including; OTC trading, market making, treasury management, and custody.
We are looking for a Trader in London to join their London offices. You’d have the opportunity to join a global team focused on researching, interpreting, and capitalising on crypto trading markets.
Responsibilities:
- Develop trading strategies around market-making, spot markets and OTC.
- Define optimal liquidity to provide clients with.
- Research potential trading opportunities on centralised & decentralised exchanges.
- Help manage day-to-day crypto operations (fund movements, transaction processing, reconciliations, settlements, loan tracking, account opening, P&L calculation, position management, etc.).
Background and skills
- University degree (MSc), preferably in Finance, Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics or related.
- At least 2 years working experience in Trading (Crypto is not a must have)
- Trading experience within a global financial trading firm is a plus.
- Strong understanding of decentralised exchanges and decentralised finance.
- Strong understanding of cryptocurrency concepts such as wallets, blockchains, smart contracts and stablecoins required.
- Highly motivated and results-driven
- Strong maths and analytical skills
