About The Role We have an excellent opportunity for a Trading Underwriter to join our high performing Client Services department at DAS UK Group. Based in central Bristol this is a great opportunity to work alongside Senior and Assistant Trading Underwriters, and hold responsibility for dealing with business partners and providing our partners with a bespoke service. You will also have the opportunity to get involved in the underwriting of our standard products.In this role you will meet with our business partners to negotiate renewal terms, provide performance updates and proactively manage their insurance risk. In addition, you will be responsible for identifying any underwriting issues negatively impacting our business partners, working with internal and external stakeholders to resolve these issues to our business partners satisfaction.This is a great opportunity to showcase your communication and relationship building skills and demonstrate experience of effective collaboration with business partners and internal stakeholders. About You We’re ideally looking for candidates with previous underwriting experience and a passion for ensuring good customer outcomes. It's important to the role that the successful applicant can demonstrate previous experience using MS Excel to review and analyse data, and an innovative approach and ability to develop meaningful and long term relationships with business partners in addition to: The ability to work at pace whilst maintaining an accurate, high quality output; An ability to manage different projects and tasks, while meeting challenging deadlines and exceeding customers’ expectations; and The ability to lead complex underwriting conversations with business partners.
