A highly regarded name in the market is seeking an experienced P&C Underwriter to join their Birmingham team who will be responsible for driving business in the East Midlands area, dealing with mid-market cases on a new business basis.
Responsibilities include:
- Underwrite P&C business across the mid-market arena
- Build and maintain relationships with brokers across the East Midlands region
- Offer underwriting support where needed
- Depending on experience you may be called upon as a branch referral point for larger, more complex risks
- Assist lower level underwriters on a technical basis
Requirements:
- Commercial underwriting experience is essential
- Good understanding of mid-market level cases
- Excellent relationship management
