TPF Recruitment, the leading provider of accountancy practice professionals are currently supporting one of their clients located in Brighton with the recruitment of a level 2 or 3 AAT-qualified trainee accountants. Key Duties and Responsibilities:Bookkeeping:Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for a diverse portfolio of clients.Process and record financial transactions, including sales, purchases, receipts, and payments.VAT Returns:Prepare and submit VAT returns accurately and on compliance with current VAT regulations and liaise with clients to resolve any issues.Accounts Preparation:Assist in the preparation of financial statements for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.Support senior accountants in compiling management accounts and year-end accounts.Payroll Processing:Assist with the processing of client payrolls, ensuring timely and accurate payment of related payroll administration tasks, including the calculation of statutory payments and deductions.Client Communication:Serve as a point of contact for clients, addressing their queries and providing professional advice where appropriate.Maintain positive and proactive client relationships through regular communication.Tax Compliance:Assist in the preparation of personal and corporate tax all tax submissions comply with relevant legislation and deadlines.Administrative Support:Provide general administrative support to the accounting manage client files and documentation in accordance with company policies and procedures.
