It’s within our Technical Advisory team at Marley, that we’re recruiting for a Trainee Technical Advisor due to continued growth and interest in Marley’s latest products. So what’s my mission? The first step will be within our close-knit, supportive and vibrant Technical Advisory Team where you’ll provide technical support on various Marley products and services via phone and email. This will involve general guidance and advice as well as producing technical specifications, and material estimates provided for customers. You’ll have a lot of variety to your working day and will regularly speak with Architects, Builders’ Merchants, Housing Developers and members of the public. From an internal perspective, you’ll work closely with Marketing, Customer Services and Sales teams. Marley also has a range of new renewable energy products such as solar PV panels, where you’ll be tasked with offering guidance and support and provide optimised solar arrays. The range will continue to grow, and you will need to learn and develop your understanding, to provide advice and support on these innovations. So, what’s in it for you? Previous success has shown we need a confident and enthusiastic communicator with a good level of English and Maths, along with the ability to quickly learn about new products. Ideally organised, accurate, with a great attention to detail. Things you will learn on the job: How to use a CRM software such as Salesforce. The ability to interpret project drawings and specifications How to use a CAD software and an understanding of BIM Experience in preparing quotations and technical communications. Excellent communication skills, advising customers by telephone and email. Strong ability to build relationships. The ability to quickly learn about new products.
