Pay of Telecoms Engineer - Self Employed
- You will be paid per job, which will give you the flexibility to influence your own earnings on a self-employed basis.
- You will have the option to lease a company van and the option to lease tools, uniform, mobile phone, and laptop directly from the client.
Job Description of Telecoms Engineer - Self Employed
- You will be given full and ongoing training in the role and be fully supported throughout your working day by a dedicated service centre.
- You will be working on a long-term self-employed basis.
- Day-to-day duties include installing broadband, TV services, resolving broadband faults, and optimizing speed in our customers' premises on behalf of our clients, which include TalkTalk and BT.
- You will undertake shifts on a rotational basis with the option of flexible working.
- In this field-based position, you will be driving from one job to another, providing the above services with a keen focus on customer service.
- Our client is running a training course for this Telecoms Field Engineer position, which will last for two weeks.
- Previous experience within the Telecoms Field, broadband Field, or IT Field would be beneficial; however, an interest in IT, Telecoms, or broadband would be sufficient.
Key Responsibilities of Telecoms Engineer - Self Employed
- You need to have a full UK driver's license with no more than 6 points and have held this for at least two years.
- You should be friendly, customer-focused, and have a desire to resolve customer issues.
- You must be interested in IT, broadband, telephony, and digital TV technology.
