Job Description

As a Trainee Website Designer, you will embark on a comprehensive training program to develop the skills and knowledge required to design and maintain high-quality websites. Working closely with our experienced design team, you will gain hands-on experience in web development, user experience design, and content creation.


Key Responsibilities

Training and Development:

  • Participate in a structured training program to acquire proficiency in web design tools, coding languages, and design principles.
  • Collaborate with senior designers to gain practical experience and insights into industry best practices.

Website Design

  • Assist in the creation and maintenance of visually appealing and user-friendly websites.
  • Contribute creative ideas to design projects and work towards implementing them under supervision.

Content Creation

  • Work with the content team to create and optimise website content, ensuring alignment with design standards.

Quality Assurance

  • Assist in conducting quality checks to ensure websites meet design specifications and are error-free.

Collaboration

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, marketers, and project managers, to contribute to the overall success of projects.


Qualifications

  • A strong interest in web design and a desire to pursue a career in the field.
  • Basic understanding of design principles and familiarity with design tools.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a creative mindset.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • A willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.


Requirements

  • A-levels or equivalent educational qualifications.
  • Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and design software is a plus.

Skills and Abilities

  • Able to work both remotely and in the office.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferable but not required

  • Experience or understanding of SEO.
  • Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS.
  • Understanding of CMS systems (e.g., WordPress).
  • Experience working with Adobe Software.
