Client Relationship Transition Manager (Defined Benefits)
Location: London or Reigate
Full Time – 35 hours

The Role

We are currently recruiting for a Client Relationship Transition Manager to work in our Defined Benefits team. You will be responsible for the smooth and successful transition and implementation of schemes that transact with us. This role has been created to support the growth and ambition of our business; you would do this by:

1. Working primarily with scheme administrators and managing multiple transitions of varying sizes and complexity.
2. Providing strong and consistent stakeholder management, setting clear timescales and expectations with internal and external stakeholders.
3. Analyzing and collating accurate and validated data.
4. Building strong relationships with clients such as EBCs, Trustees, and Pensions Managers.
5. Occasionally traveling within the UK to meet with clients and colleagues.

Examples of key activities:

1. Project managing all transactions from exclusive appointment, ensuring timely completion of all tasks in line with client and business expectations.
2. Obtaining, validating, and checking data received during the data cleanse period.
3. Communicating progress, issues, and next steps to key stakeholders involved in the transaction.
4. Supporting the Senior Business Development Manager with client management.
5. Working with the DB Operations team to handle trustee queries during the transition process.

Skills and Experience

1. Experience within the DB Pensions or DB De-risking Market, with knowledge of buy-ins and buy-outs.
2. Experience in relationship management and/or project management (qualifications such as Prince 2, Agile, APM desirable).
3. Able to project manage transactions effectively.
4. Proficient in Microsoft Excel; capable of analyzing and checking data efficiently.
5. A strong negotiator with good influencing skills.
